Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh herring
- 1 liter of water
- 130-170 g salt
- 1.5 tbsp Sahara
- 10 pieces. black peppercorns
- 5 pieces. allspice
- 3 bay leaves
Preparation
Add salt, sugar, black and allspice, bay leaf to the water.
Boil.
Boil for 2-3 minutes.
Cool to room temperature.
Herring (I did not gut the herring, I only cleaned the scales) pour brine.
Press down with a load (for example, a plate).
Refrigerate for 2 days.
